I am a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Retail and Commerce consultant with more than 13 years of experience delivering ERP implementation, customization, and support for retail organizations. My work combines functional understanding of store operations with hands-on technical delivery. I translate business processes into practical platform designs, identify gaps in standard functionality, and develop solutions that fit the way store and commerce teams work. My background spans Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 and R3, Dynamics 365 Retail, and Dynamics 365 Commerce.
Retail and Commerce platforms
Retail point of sale has been a consistent focus throughout my career. I have worked across EPOS, MPOS, and CPOS, supporting implementation, configuration, extension, testing, and rollout. My experience includes store commerce, Commerce Runtime (CRT), Commerce Scale Unit (CSU), Retail Server, Hardware Station, Site Builder, and headless commerce. I have worked with pricing, promotions, loyalty, inventory, order fulfillment, tax, and the operational workflows that connect store systems with headquarters and online channels.
Customization and integration
I design and extend platform functionality when standard features do not meet a business requirement. My work has included MPOS and CPOS services and triggers, CRT extensions, EPOS upgrades, custom promotions, tax behavior, and application builds. For payments, I have designed EFT-device integrations, extended Dynamics AX payment connectors, and supported payment functionality across store and online channels. I have also customized POS reporting to retrieve current data from AX and worked with offline inventory behavior for stores.
Commerce projects have included B2B and B2C e-commerce, brick-and-click channels, catalog and product hierarchy, themes, and extensions. I have contributed to implementations and rollouts across the United States, United Kingdom, India, Australia, and Qatar. This work has required adapting retail solutions to regional business processes, including tax requirements, payment methods, promotions, and store operations.
Technical approach
My technical toolkit includes C#, .NET, X++, TypeScript, SQL Server, Visual Studio, Azure services, and Application Integration Framework (AIF). Earlier projects involved Windows 8 applications, Azure integrations, Kinect, and the Skype SDK. I have designed service integrations between Dynamics AX and other applications, including AIF document and custom services, push notifications, and interfaces across application components. These projects gave me experience moving between enterprise ERP, point-of-sale devices, online commerce, and supporting services.
Delivery and collaboration
I contribute from solution design through deployment and support. I gather requirements, assess technical feasibility, consider the effects of a customization on related modules, and prepare technical documentation for development teams. I work with developers and functional colleagues to review architecture, maintain code quality, test completed functionality, and resolve implementation gaps. I also prepare user-training materials and help process owners and champions understand the resulting business workflows.
My experience is techno-functional: I can discuss the retail process with stakeholders and follow the implementation details with technical teams. I value clear requirements, maintainable extensions, and practical testing against real store scenarios. Across more than a decade of retail and ERP work, I have supported both focused proofs of concept and broad store rollout programs. I bring that combination of platform knowledge, integration experience, and delivery discipline to Dynamics 365 Retail and Commerce engagements.
